Course Features

Transportation of Dangerous Goods Course

Dangerous goods or materials pose a lot of hazards to health, property, and the environment as a result of their inherently hazardous characteristics, such as toxicity, flammability, corrosive nature, and so on.

As these goods are moved/transported from one place to another, the hazards associated with them increase greatly, making the transportation process "complicated.”. This makes safe transportation a huge concern.

However, with the right training, anyone involved in the handling and transportation of dangerous goods need not have to worry, as such an individual would have acquired the know-how to classify, identify, package, document, label and prepare a shipment for safe transport, as well as what to do in case of an emergency.

Attendance at this two-day course is recommended for all employees involved in the transportation, shipping, and receiving of dangerous goods.
