Who Should Attend?

Prerequisites

  • Kevron states learners must be aged 19 or above.
  • Kevron states learners should have a Level 3 OSH qualification or a minimum of two years' relevant OSH experience.
  • IOSH states there are no mandatory entry requirements, but strongly recommends prior Level 3 IOSH study or equivalent and/or relevant experience.
  • Learners must meet English-language requirements and be, or become before course start, an IOSH member under Kevron’s stated entry process.

Syllabus

The aim of the unit is to enable you to demonstrate advanced understanding of OSH legal frameworks and management principles. This includes the application, development, appraisal, and implications of different approaches in a business.

The aim of this unit is to enable you to critically appraise OSH performance within an organisation. You will learn how internal and external factors can influence OSH decision making and approach, while contributing to wider business strategy. You will develop recommendations for improving and implementing organisation-wide OSH practices and culture.

The aim of this unit is to enable you to demonstrate understanding and application of leadership skills to influence, challenge and drive change within OSH in an organisation.
