Onsite Project Safety Management
Kevron Group played a crucial role in the successful delivery of the Africa Data Centre (ADC) Project, ensuring the highest standards of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) compliance throughout its execution.
The project involved the development of the first phase of Tier III, a five-megawatt data centre in Eko Atlantic City, Lagos, Nigeria. The facility, with an initial 1.1MW capacity, accommodates two Modular Data Halls (MDH) along with operational office spaces. It features a lower ground level comprising a drop-off zone, parking area, offices, meeting rooms, ablutions, storage, reception, and security areas. The modular units (MU) are positioned on the ground and first-floor levels, while the roof level houses generators and air-conditioning condenser units servicing both the Modular Data Halls and Modular Units.
The external design incorporates two levels: a ground-floor circulation and loading area and a ramped section providing access to the lower-ground amenities. The facility is planned to expand to achieve a total IT capacity of 5MW in the future.
Throughout the project, Kevron Group provided expert HSE advisory support, collaborating closely with the project team to implement industry best practices and ensure a safe and compliant work environment. By leveraging its deep expertise in Quality, Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (QHSSE) management, Kevron Group reinforced a culture of safety, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance, safeguarding both personnel and infrastructure.
The successful completion of this project highlights Kevron Group’s commitment to delivering world-class HSE solutions and supporting complex, high-stakes infrastructure developments in Nigeria and beyond.
