Accessibility Statement & WCAG 2.2 Standards

Inclusive Digital Experience Standard: WCAG 2.2 Level AA • Status: Substantially Conforming

1. Conformance Status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. The Kevron Group Ghana digital experience is substantially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA.

2. Technical Measures Implemented

  • Semantic Hierarchy: Logical heading structures (<h1> through <h6>) without skipped levels.
  • Keyboard Operability: All interactive elements, including the 5-step quote wizard, dropdown menus, and accordion FAQs, can be navigated using keyboard controls (Tab, Enter, Space, Esc).
  • Visible Focus Indicators: High-contrast focus rings (#0078C0) are rendered on all interactive inputs and buttons.
  • Colour Contrast: Body copy meets minimum 4.5:1 contrast against light backgrounds (#4b5563 on #F8FAFC). Large headings achieve greater than 7:1 contrast.
  • Text Reflow: Content reflows cleanly without horizontal scrollbars up to 400% zoom and down to 320px viewport width.
  • Reduced Motion: CSS media queries (prefers-reduced-motion) disable heavy animations and decorative transitions for users with vestibular sensitivities.

3. Assistive Technology Compatibility

Our digital platform is engineered to be compatible with modern screen readers including NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver (macOS / iOS), and TalkBack (Android). Interactive scoping tools provide textual alternatives and ARIA attributes for all visual diagrams.
